I am learning to do digital art, but I also enjoy creating things in the traditional way. Colored pencils and acryllics are my favorite mediums.

I haven't been around as much as I would like. My laptop died, so I can only borrow someone else's at odd times. And of course, that means little to no photo editing programs. Then my grandfather died as well, almost smack dab on top of the anniversary of my mom's death.....so needless to say death has been on my mind a lot.

After a major disappointment this week, I found myself wallowing in despair. So, what did I do about it? Why I did what every self-respecting deviant does and milked it for all it's worth and came up with my latest piece, aptly titled "Despair." :giggle:
So where does Despair belong? Well, it's not quite a Deadly Sin and it's certainly not a Heavenly Virtue but falls somewhere in the human morass of emotions that make up the twilight between the two. Eventually, I'll have to come up with a title or category for it, but for now, I'm exploring the darker, and yes, even the lighter emotions that fall between the Sins and the Virtues.
